Maybe I've missed this on search, but I'm looking for great crime narratives in rap. I tend to think of Ghostface as the best I've heard at it, but I'm totally willing to be surprised. Extra points if any appropriate the Stagger Lee narrative to a good beat.

Yeah Ghostface was my first thought. Maxine's even better than Shakey Dog imo. So cinematic. Love the way he moves so fast and adopts the different voices like someone who's been given five minutes to pitch a screenplay and doesn't want to leave out a single detail.

"Nobody Move" by Eazy E made a huge impression on me when it came out. I still know all the lyrics.

Everything that's been posted so far is awesome, wow, hadn't heard any of these before except Knuckleheadz. "On The Run" approaches epic status.

"On the Run" is like a Sopranos episode. I like how G Rap, unlike a lot of other rappers, always seems to have an "old lady" to stick by his side.
