Without Mick Harvey, but still. Compilation album, new album, all coming up?
I was JUST listening to some of my CCS cds tonight - it was probably more than 5 years ago and they were even better than I remembered - and thought I'd look up if I missed anything of their discography. Hence this discovery.
All this and more!

Sorry if I seem like some paid street team, I'm not, I've just always liked their music and still do.

They're not taking a jetlag break between North America and Europe either, wonder how that's going to work out.

the other day i saw Wings of Desire for the first time, knowing that there would be some Nick Cave action. And when the first nightclub scene popped up, I actually thought it was Nick Cave. The song was absolutely amazing! And the "live" performance as well. Just phenomenal. Later I realized that the band was actually Crime & the City Solution, and the song is "Six Bells Chime".
I notice from the recent link that their upcoming tour concludes in Berlin, at the C Club. Is that the same club as in the film?

Curious to see how this new lineup is going to sound... so far all the previous incarnations have been great in their own particular ways.
In passing, David Eugene Edwards put a track up on Soundcloud from the forthcoming Wovenhand album which seems to me to have something of a Crime influence... I guess he'll fit in pretty well.

Holy reunions, Chicago: Crime is playing here the same night as PiL, New Order and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

ZS - the club (the Esplanade) in WoD does not exist any more - I managed to go there in 1993 but it was probably in its last days.

anyone seen them? should I shell out for it next week? I used to love this band although admittedly some of that was probably mick harvey-driven.
