Never got past the French skatepark level. Total bitch, I spent most my time in the ridiculous non-career levels.

kinda hated the soundtrack on that tho. i actually just reinstalled it on my computer couple months ago... you mute the soundtrack and blast the skate fx, put on music and the background, and you easily can waste an hour in a minute.

i played THPS1 constantly during my last year in high school, and thought i was hot shit. i arranged a public showdown with a fellow nerd who also thought he was hotshit. we each had entrance music and entered the "arena" (my friend's basement) WWF style. the other guy completely destroyed me in every possible way (we played several different modes, levels, etc), and I never played again. or talked about the incident until now.

thps 2 is an all-time classic. i played it a month or so ago and unfortunately i'm really shitty at it now ;_; (and it did have a really good soundtrack, possibly the best out of the ones i played in the series.) anyway yes, ty for this poll.

'jerry was a race car driver' is the one that comes to mind when i think of this game, so i'm gonna have to show fidelity to my inner 14-year-old.

i skated off and on (really poorly) starting when i was 9 or so and was sooo pumped for this game when it came out. it was like, hoooly shit finally! skateboarding games before this were so candyass (no offense sk8 or die!!!)

I got really into this and the sequel freshman year of college, having never once skated, but at least for my roommate part of the appeal definitely was being a retired 12-year-old wannabe skater and finally getting to live out all these impossible skater fantasies in a much more achievable way.

Can't really pick from the soundtrack options - - - almost all of them come crashing back when I read the titles, but most of them were kind of just the background music, yknow? "I'll kick your assador" got some lols around the dorm, I'll give you that...
