Can this really be the first Kottke thread on ILM? I only have 6 and 12 String Guitar but man is it good. But maybe a lot of his other stuff sucks. What say you?

I have some of the earlier 70's albums on Capitol and Guitar Music from 1981. I've found that I like pretty everything, in varying degrees. I think my three albums of the ones I have are 6 + 12 String, Mudlark and Dreams and All That Stuff.
Is anyone more familiar with his 80's/Private era stuff? Any thoughts on it?

Been digging Burnt Lips a lot lately, which is surprising, because it's one of the vocal-heavy ones. Nice predominantly dark mood throughout, though.
