Thanks to continual play on classic rock radio, a lot of Bad Company's early singles has turned into wallpaper. But tonight I sat down and listened to them through headphones, pretending I'd never heard them before, and damn... they were so fantastic.

"Young Blood", (yes, the Coasters song) a totally forgotten hit for Bad Co. Went to #20 in 1976. But the band must hate it. The song isn't even included on their 2 Disc Anthology collection.

"Can't Get Enough" 1

Surprised at this, this was a school band staple, back in the day.

Just heard one of post-Rogers hits on the radio--has there ever been such a reasonably successful period of a popular band that's as buried and forgotten as Brian Howe-era Bad Company?

JUST what we needed, on today of all days. Said the promo email:

"DRUMMING ICON SIMON KIRKE (BAD COMPANY) RELEASES "FEEL LIKE MAKING LOVE" - NEW UKULELE VERSION!"
