If you'd like a song _by_ a cat, I've got a pretty great recording of ours stepping on some keys of a synth/drum machine and producing a not- bad approximation of an early-'80s New Order instrumental. I'm serious. Put it on a compilation CD last year.

'my kitten went to london' - kid 606 isn't there an old 60's garage tune called 'leave my kitten alone'? i've got a version by the sonics but i don't think they wrote it. there's also a song by milky wimpshake and the chorus goes "meow, meow, meow, meow, mee-ow!" in a suitably twee manner, but someone else wrote that as well. god knows who. there's loadsa twee pop songs about cats i imagine. i've got a mentalist casio glitch-core song called 'my cat is harder than yr cat' if that helps.

I sing reggae songs to my cat when I feed him, but I change the lyrics. For example, the Congos, "Row Fisherman Row": "Lots of hungry belly kitty cats on the floor / Millions of them!" or Jacob Miller's "Healing of the Nation": "Kitty cat has been good / so we give him him cat food / let them, let them know / it's the feeding of the kitty".
