i talked w norman jay's brother the other day. he moved to ghana 14 years ago and hadn't been back to london since. he said his british friends were telling him he should start making music again because the kids were "into dubstep" these days :/

American kids are into dubstep and I find this worrisome. Is it going to turn into another rave / drugs thing? Are kids going to flood the clubs high on "bath salts" or some other crap drug? Because I really liked the music when it first emerged.

two days into decibel and I've barely heard any dubstep and all but so much trap. the leaf has turned, I think.

annie mac was on the guardian music weekly podcast the other day saying the same thing, dubstep's yeterday, it'll all about trap
