Yar. Was my stupid firewall, don't know why it wasn't giving any problems on the first 5 songs.

"This is the 21st Century..."

Bimble, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:10 (fifteen years ago) link

Hmm, and that'll nicely fill up a CD, the main set! Now for the encores.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:11 (fifteen years ago) link

god that was amazing.

Roz, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:12 (fifteen years ago) link

oooh, cymbal rush!

Simon H., Friday, 29 August 2008 04:14 (fifteen years ago) link

Gosh the sound quality on this is really incredible.

Bimble, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:18 (fifteen years ago) link

Well this was inevitable! (Hoping they do "Videotape" too and that'll be the whole album.)

Ned Raggett, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:19 (fifteen years ago) link

This is the only song off 'in rainbows' which I'm still compelled to hear, I wished they didnt play videotape and instead opted from more kid a or the bends. I love the whole IR album but I need to give it some time... I think I've overplayed it enough.

Moka, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:23 (fifteen years ago) link

Anyone noticed how when the white light hit Thom earlier he kind of resembled Damo Suzuki? It all makes sense now.

Moka, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:25 (fifteen years ago) link

bimble, paranoid android!

Roz, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:25 (fifteen years ago) link

I kinda felt that way when they did Videotape at the show I saw too - stripped of the context of being the last song on In Rainbows, it was like "um, could you choose another one please?"

Yes, Paranoid Android! :)

Bimble, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:26 (fifteen years ago) link

I heart "Go Slowly."

Simon H., Friday, 29 August 2008 04:32 (fifteen years ago) link

I never play these bonus tracks anymore.

Bimble, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:35 (fifteen years ago) link

Yay. :-) (I really do like "Videotape")

Ned Raggett, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:44 (fifteen years ago) link

there you go, nedward.

Roz, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:44 (fifteen years ago) link

Yah I change my mind that was a very good rendition of the song.

Moka, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:48 (fifteen years ago) link

Okay, now I'm REALLY happy.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:53 (fifteen years ago) link

live "Idioteque" is one of the greatest things ever conceived.

Simon H., Friday, 29 August 2008 04:54 (fifteen years ago) link

WOO IDIOTEQUE!

Roz, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:54 (fifteen years ago) link

when is Ed's solo record out?

Simon H., Friday, 29 August 2008 04:56 (fifteen years ago) link

Thom sure reminded me of some Ian Curtis dance moves for a bit there...

Bimble, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:58 (fifteen years ago) link

Somehow ending on some roadies and Flight of the Conchords seems apt.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 29 August 2008 04:59 (fifteen years ago) link

haha yeah. If you want me to..

Roz, Friday, 29 August 2008 05:00 (fifteen years ago) link

"Wow" @ Reckoner.

piscesx, Friday, 29 August 2008 05:29 (fifteen years ago) link

I know it's a little bit late for a reply, but, yeah, I saw them. Rio and SP. In Rainbows in its entirety and Creep as final song.

Shin Oliva Suzuki, Sunday, 24 May 2009 23:59 (fourteen years ago) link

Nice! Shame Melissa W and I couldn't make it to those shows, heard great things about them.

Turangalila, Monday, 25 May 2009 07:17 (fourteen years ago) link

Mexico was awesome, though, particularly the 2nd night. Thom even did a bit of I FEEL LOVE during The National Anthem. :D

Turangalila, Monday, 25 May 2009 07:18 (fourteen years ago) link

I'm an animal, trapped in your hot car.

This line always reminds me of Dogs Die in Hot Cars, the band name.

I just wish he hadn't adopted the "ilxor" moniker (ilxor), Monday, 25 May 2009 15:16 (fourteen years ago) link

I'm gonna post this shit again, bitchez. I can't get tired of it ever, ever, ever. This one is for Turangalila. I will never tire of this song. It's like Can for god's sake. How does one tire of Can?

Roberto Spiralli, Saturday, 26 February 2011 19:17 (thirteen years ago) link

radiohead geeks are so into their bends/ok computer/kid a arguments that it will take decades of healing before they realize that this is the best radiohead album

iatee, Saturday, 26 February 2011 19:21 (thirteen years ago) link

There's just not a lot of dynamics with this records songs, tho. Every song just kinda sounds like a singular path, whereas OK Computer/Kid A would morph into entirely different creatures mid-tune, and do so perfectly. They were cinematic, if anything.. you just don't get all too much of with everything that was released thereafter.
