Different songs that merge into one in your mind

I have a lifelong problem with "Lookin' Out My Back Door" and "Hello Mary Lou, Goodbye Heart." It really does happen so easily.

And of course, "Dissident" by Pearl Jam always acquires the chorus of "Plush" by the Stone Temple Pilots, as a bridge.

not sure if this counts, but anything on the prodigy's dirtchamber sessions mix. whenever i hear a song from it on the radio, i can't help but think "but where's those other bits?"

This has been happening to me lately with "Go With the Flow" by QOTSA and "Maniac" by Michael Sembello.
