Excellent band. Moreover, still alive and recording a new album which will be released within 2008.
I wonder if successors of Blind Idiot God exist (apart -partly- Don Caballero). Their unique formula (don't consider dub this time) doesn't seem to be inherited.
Comments?

I love the first album. It would be perfect if it weren't for the murky production/mastering job, though, which renders it less powerful than it should be (I'm sure they'd melt my face off live).

one month passes...

I'm really sorry, but the wine I mentioned in the 2007 math-rock thread makes me still wondering about bands following Blind Idiot God's path.
Maybe new noise/math-rock/dub gods have logged in during the last month.

Dub Trio's live album on ROIR is in the spirit of BIG. smoother but very well executed. and incl. a Seefeel cover! those three BIG albums are just colossal.

I was just gonna jump in and mention Dub Trio. Their previous studio album is also quite good. And I really hope there is another BIG studio album, one that captures the sheer overpoweringness of their live show. I saw them at Tonic late last year, and they were mind-roasting.
