One of my all time fave records but the description on the St. Ann's warehouse website worries me a bit. They are calling it a "theatrically realized concert version..."

What does that mean?

Eyeliner and bad acting.

Surely he's played there before now?

I saw him & Cale do their Andy Warhol tribute at St Anns ca 87/8.

Theatrically realized Berlin "they're taking her children away..." even if Robert Wilson stages it this will be an epic bummer.

next: Twyla Tharp & Co interpret Metal Machine Music!

Can't wait to see Lou's tai chi instructor onstage again.

Wasn't there a stage version of The Raven and wasn't it awful? Even moreso than the album I mean?

6 years pass...

watched a bit of the Julian Temple film version the other day megalol at this Antony guy, looked like he was about to be reduced to a quivering pile of crying, ululating jelly

turned it off when Lou started to solo and hit a bunch of obviously wrong notes
