I did an Italo mega-post last week with a bunch of the full versions of some of my favorite tracks on the countdown (and ones it's lacking). You can look at that here. Also in that post is a link to the Elektrosonik site, which is hosting files of the full countdown. Don't know if that's what you're trying to download -- it's much better than trying to do it via slsk.

thanks richj! i think im just going to d/l unmixed versions of a few this year, at least till i have a faster connection. the downside to that is that ill miss i-f's totally hilarious narration.

Soooo hilarious. He describes about half of the tracks as "hard rockin'." People I've played the countdowns for have complained about him, but I fucking love that guy.

my happiest discover from the last one was Giorgio Farina's Discocross. Morgan has this swiss or something mega-mix record that contained that and I thought it was all the mix, then I finally heard the original...so good. Would love to find that record. The flamenco acoustic guitar and race car sounds are just too much.

I played Take a Chance at a big party last saturday, hundreds of people, it was my second to last song (mixed out of Patrick Cowley's mix of I Feel Love and into D.I.S.C.O. by Anti-Rock, some Malevasi thing) and everyone was watching me and laughing at me because I was lip-synching all the words and acting the song out. But they were still dancing, so fuck 'em!
