i really like the new album, tis more solid than the rinse collection, but there is a vocal track on rinse that is just gorgeous.

just bumped into dave/minotuar shock. new album about to be released on 4ad. expect very special packaging for the limited edition version. also, could be more stuff released under his techno alias, principal participant. that is, once he fixes his computer.

no one seems to have mentioned Amateur Dramatics on ilm, which is a shame as it's great: a little bit Italo, a little bit Saint Etienne, varied and inventive but also very accessible. And each track is priced according to a complex evaluating system.

How complex?

really liked amateur dramatics, and production is ace

"How complex?"
marks for 'technical difficulty', number of musicians used, etc

otm, been listening to this a lot with increasing returns; lovely drumming all over it, esp. on "Ocean Swell".
