They were OTM about SF being doomed.

San Francisco's doomed, I need me some fun
San Francisco's doomed, I need me some
San Francisco's doomed, I feel real sick
San Francisco's doomed, I need me some kicks

San Francisco's doomed
San Francisco's doomed
San Francisco's doomed
San Francisco, is outta tune

Yeah yeah

San Francisco's doomed, just like LA
San Francisco's doomed, all the kids say
San Francisco's doomed, it's all in the air
San Francisco's doomed, and we don't care

They were predicting the Marina would expand to encompass the entire bay area.
In 77, it was a prophecy.

I think it's possible that Crime will do a tour sometime this year, unless I was mishearing.

I think they've already done a few dates, haven't they? If I recall reports were not so positive.

Isn't their singer dead? Who's in the band now?

And when are they going to reissue the singles??

Colonel Poo (Colonel Poo), Monday, 13 June 2005 08:26 (eighteen years ago) link

never. and box set is in limbo. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadfjls

Amon (eman), Monday, 13 June 2005 11:13 (eighteen years ago) link

They had two singers who'd take the lead on different songs; Johnny Strike is alive, Frankie Fix died sometime around 1996. I spoke briefly to Henry, their drummer, in late April and he seemed to think the box set was coming out.

nine years pass...

The singles collection, plus other unreleased stuff is out now on Superior Viaduct and it is fucking awesome.
