fourth: the whole school-boy thing, and Angus always droppin' trou' during the drum-solo? C'mon!!!!!

& finally: in the great rock concert film "Let There Be Rock" (Paris, 1980) there is a section where the Young brothers are basically saying, "Well, Bon's a little different". Then there's a clip of Bon strolling the streets in a fancy scarf, and the omniscent narrator voice asks flat out, "Do you like men?"

Bon Scott was not gay. Nor was/is anyone else in AC/DC. Not that there's anything wrong with being gay, but rather that is just wasn't the case. The took the name from the back of a sewing machine. Case closed. Move on, nothing to see here.

That WAS the U.S. metal audience at it's peak, and those mossbacks wore their ignorance like a badge of honor. Narrowmindedness was a sport for them. So, yeh, it's a bit ironic that one of their heroes *was probably gay*. Look, if Rob Halford, George Micheal, or Elton John died at that age we may never have know for sure. But, we'd have clues...

Holy crow, it it out already

The AC/DC fab will want to see the rock video opera ala Eighties made for "Fly On the Wall."

First, you gotta understand that this was not a particularly well-respected AC/DC record. Second, the put-together on "Family Jewels" is a great way to get back into the best of it. Third, it's totally 80's and suitably humorous. "Sink the Pink" is a high point. Sadly, this is not gay although it does portray a wispy-looking white boy being overpowered by a moxy woman in a game of 9 Ball. She pulls up short and illogically surrenders to him while the band sprays it in the background. Really, "Fly On the Wall" was a difficult, collapsed AC/DC offering and the "Family Jewels" thing refocuses on it. "Nervous Shakedown" from "Flick" is also tremendous, as it always was.

Alot of the stuff said on here has been incredibly disrespectful to Bon - one of the most charismatic, original, hard-rocking frontmen in rock history! this is total bull shit. the reason bon performed in drag on tv ONCE was because it was AC/DC's first gig on TV and they needed attention.
