Alas, the demands of military justice will push me away from Tokyo during that time -- I have to spend the week in S. Korea defending a kid in a court-martial. For a good source of information, try this link:

It's a decent week for concerts, depending on your taste. Velvet Revolver, the Manic Street Preachers and the Chemical Brothers will be in town, on different nights.

Also me and friends are having a minimal techno/house party at Soft in Ebisu on Saturday 02/12 so please come to that maybe pre-High Contrast. I've buggered my hand snowboarding so it hurts to type but I'll post details later.

My company is paying so I'm at the Westin. We should party on my expense account...

Jacob (Jacob), Friday, 4 February 2005 13:14 (nineteen years ago) link

And that party sounds excellent - will definitely come.

Great, it should be good. It's a really nice space and it's kinda friendly. Please find me and say hi. My name is Jeremy.

Ooh, I love expense accounts!

The girls in booths between Hinodecho and Koganecho are not there right now. Go to the other side of the canal to get a few who are working the streets. They are mainly Thai with a few Chinese. There are also some Columbian tranvestites working the area.
If you want booth girls they still are workling in Kawasaki.
I doubt you will be able to get into a fashion health, image or pink salon. Soapies are, for the most part, also out.

two weeks pass...
So, I'm here for another week. Should be today til sunday. Am definitely going to try and make it to LCD Soundsystem on Saturday - you up for that, J?

Jacob (Jacob), Monday, 21 February 2005 03:51 (nineteen years ago) link

Jacob, good to meet the other night. How did you get on at High Constrast? I realized when you left I should have given you directions ...

As for LCD Soundsystem, it's maybe a tad too expensive (6300 yen!) for me.

For the weekend, I'm tentatively pencilling in these two, though I have to consult with the missus/friends.

26th, Saturday: Sieg Uber Die Sonne, Pink Elln, Dandy Jack, The Junction SM
(DJ+Live). Club Yellow. 10PM. 3500(door)/3000(flyer).

27th, Sunday: Maurice Fulton, EYE, Moodman, Mu (live). Liquid Room. 3PM.
3800(door)/3300(flyer).

You're welcome to join!
