One Pen, Two Hits

There are at least two songwriter guys who wrote exactly two hit songs that, if you didn't have access to some kind of reference book, you would never know the songs had anything in common. These guys are

Sonny Curtis, writer of "I Fought The Law" and "Love is All Around (The Mary Tyler Moore Theme)"

and

Chip Taylor, writer of "Wild Thing" and "Angel of The Morning."

Can you name any others?

chip taylor had a lot more hits than that. the hollies' "i can't let go." jackie deshannon's "i can make it with you." barbara lewis' "make me belong to you." many more.

thanks, cuz. So maybe I should axe the word "exactly" above. The only one of the ones you mentioned I know is "I Can't Let Go" which still doesn't pin down a recognizable Chip Taylor style for me.

Bobby Hebb - "Sunny" and Lou Rawls' "A Natural Man"

Other thread made me remember another one:
Mike D'Abo -"Handbags and Gladrags" and "Build Me Up Buttercup"
