the monks: INTERVIEWED!

I have just finished reading Black Monk Time by Eddie Shaw. I had to order it direct from the publishers but it was really cheap, something like £14 including postage and packing, Eddie signed it too and there was a signed postcared from most of the Monks.

It's a great book - one of the best music autobiographies that I've read!

Spain? Is that the benicassim festival? If so, it may well end up online...

Where can I order the book from?

The book is done in a very filmic style. I'd reccommend it to anyone.

I ordered it from Amazon, I think. It took so long to come (which is not their fault I believe), that when it did, it was a bit like an unexpected prezzie)

Not as much of a one as if it had been signed with a card and that, admittedly. I believe there are a limited number of hardback ones, wish I'd gone for one now obv...

eddie just sent me a copy of the book, some monks cds, promo photographs. how ace is that?

there was a screening of some kind of Monks video in Chicago a few months ago. i think it was put on by Roctober magazine... i wish i had gone.

There's supposed to be some videos of the Monks off "Beat Club" but I have never seen this..
