so, i was at this community center in a suburb of milwaukee at some rock show, and then this kid, who happens to post to this very site, starts playing this rap beat, and starts chanting like "CAN YOU FEEL THE POWER?!" with his fist in the air like a champion of sound, and like 150 hardcore white kids start moving. and he holds their attention just chanting like this for a minute, throwing in new words here and there, getting the crowd to chant back, and at like 2:30 he holds the mic over the crowd and they're LOUD, plus the feedback from the speakers. then, suddenly, he takes off his shirt, rapping, then his other shirt, and gets lifted from one side of the stage to the other, the crowd moving with him, lifting him onto platforms near the wall.
and a new beat comes on, and the kid starts flowing, and the kids watching get BUCK, no lie! everyone's jumping with hands up, and the kid can flow! kids are rapping along, and he shoves the mic into a bearded kids face, who finishes some random line in the middle of his song in cadence.
then somehow he's in the middle of this chant, and he drops to the floor and keeps rapping, and everyone in the room is on a plane that drops to a low point around him, and he's still flowing, then he pops up and kids go buck again.
this is like four songs into his set, and he ends on this triumphant note everyone knows the words to, but my memory's halfwit so i can only remember the last line, " . . . love me!" actually, only the last two words, but at the time i was chanting along. anyway, the kids lift him up on some seance-party tip, his whole body horizontal on their hands, and the arms of everyone are bending towards his dorsal side, and he keeps chanting this chorus.
this is an outstanding live show. and juiceboxxx, what's that chorus?
