congarriffic: unhinged disco percussion

Putting together a little mix of mutant disco past and present, or something like it, and the thread running through it seems to be percussion lines based on rattling congas (often, with cowbell and handclaps) -- sometimes clean and lithe, sometimes totally cluttered and almost rhythmically unhinged. Obviously there's no lack of congas in disco, house, and the like, but I'm looking for the most ridiculous extended rattlejams, particularly in the breakdowns or dub versions, or the cleanest, grooviest, trackiest rhythms made of same elements... My picks so far:

* Max 404, "She Spelled Sex" off Dirty Disco Vol 1 (Eskimo)
* H3öH (Hafler Trio), B-side (Ash 1.3)
* Lola/Arthur Russell, "Wax the Van (Jon's Dub)" (Jump Street)
* Schaeben/Geiger, "Really Real," Tomba EP (Firm)
* Raw Sex (N. Cherry/J. Blocker/G. Oban), "Give Sheep a Chance (Wooly Version)" (Mango)

I know my criteria are a little vague but it's probably more interesting that way...

DEFINITELY Jeff Bennett's "Last Breath"!

manu dibango - "soul of the makossa" - there are some rob mello mixes that would go perfectly with the firm stuff.

also villalobos - "fools garden (black conga)" might be a nice way to end it.

(it ain't congariffic, but it's tracky and excellent) (ok now i think i'm taking this thread to unintended territory) (was that the point?)
