REDBONE$$ (RED BONE), Saturday, 24 April 2004 04:48 (twenty-two years ago)

On what grounds would you like him freed? One year in prison doesn't that extreme for distribution of cocaine, manufacturing and distributing a controlled substance, and giving authorities a false name, does it?

JoB (JoB), Saturday, 24 April 2004 11:30 (twenty-two years ago)

doesn't sound

JoB's right, people who distribute harmful substances for profit should be locked up. Like Tobacconists and Bar Managers.

I hear Jamal Lewis is doing a cameo on his next album.

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Saturday, 24 April 2004 21:03 (twenty-two years ago)

or any of the other 80,000 people in american prisons for drug convictions.

ww, Saturday, 24 April 2004 22:14 (twenty-two years ago)

What is it about famous people that has numbnuts like this guy calling for his freedom, in complete ignorance of the fact that he committed an imprisonable offence?

Nah, leave the bastard locked up. He's crap anyway.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Saturday, 24 April 2004 22:37 (twenty-two years ago)

agreed. anyone found guilty of an offense is one hundred percent guilty, no exceptions. all laws are perfectly just, too-- or else why would they be laws, right? all sentences make perfect sense, too, obviously.

and, good point on the famous people thing. the only time i hear people talking about reforming the legal system, it's always about giving breaks to celebrities.

ww, Saturday, 24 April 2004 22:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Sym (shmuel), Saturday, 24 April 2004 22:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah like being allowed to murder your wife. Hi Orenthal.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Saturday, 24 April 2004 23:09 (twenty-two years ago)

oh, i get it, you're a racist asshole.

ww, Saturday, 24 April 2004 23:26 (twenty-two years ago)

What, for mentioning the name of someone who has a dark complexion?

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Saturday, 24 April 2004 23:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Hmm? I'm racist because I don't think people should be let off for murdering people and selling cocaine? Interesting theory.

By the way, I'm sure my friend Steven would be interested in hearing that... he's the president of our school's black students organization.

Autumn AImanac, Saturday, 24 April 2004 23:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Sorry, xpost with myself.

Bahaha. Nice try, um... whatever it is you did, with the capital I and stuff. Yeah.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Saturday, 24 April 2004 23:30 (twenty-two years ago)

ya know, I'd say over half of the societal problems attributed to the drugs have to do with the subculture that goes with it due to the fact that it's illegal. And whose fault is that?

uh, Saturday, 24 April 2004 23:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Also, hemp is great for making rope.

The drug prohibition in the USA is, and always has been, a de facto racist policy.

i wonder if this is the beginning of a 'jail' arms race between Gucci and T.I. to help hype their 9/28 releases.

the disparity in attractiveness between t.i. and his wife is quite startling.

it's one of the most charming things about him. he's stuck with her all these years even though he must have had thousands of girls throwing themselves at him. any cursory google search for tiny will reveal many many hysterical fangirl comments along the lines of "i will cut that ugly bitch for taking my man t.i."

i don't think the props a rapper locked up might get from adolescent rap fans outweighs not being able to do tour + videos for an upcoming album release. hopefully t.i. won't go back to jail for this.

four months pass...

thank you, allhiphop.com:

T.I. was reprimanded in prison, after security guards caught the Atlanta rapper engaged in a sexual act with his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle. The rap star is serving a year-long sentence at Arkansas State Prison for violating the terms of his previous probation, stemming from an incident in September of 2010, when he and his wife were busted for possession of ecstasy in Los Angeles. According to reports, guards caught T.I. and Tiny engaged in the sexual act during regular visiting hours at the prison, which adheres to strict guidelines when it comes to prisoners and visitors. As a result of their sexual escapade, T.I. was sent to a "Special Housing Unit" for an undetermined amount of time.
