Misheard Lyrics: 'I Can't Believe It's Not Ghetto' edition

Sometimes I wrongly hear ungangster lyrics as more gangster than they are and it gives me a little thrill, not unlike the thrill I get when I see a new goldfish of unsure compatibility introduced to currently residing goldfish and not getting killed. Of course when you figure out the real lyric it's like the goldfish dying anyway, but it was fun while it lasted. I'll start.

Pulp - "Live Bed Show"

"Cold pretending nothing's going wrong."

Tatu - "Not Gonna Get Us"

"Lights in the airfield, shouting in the BARRIO."

You can do it backwards too - think of when you've been listening to rap and you start hearing things as more fruity and nonconfronational than they are because you're subconsciously trying to offset the overwhelming butchness or something. I'm not going to list examples but you can because you are strong, attractive, and intelligent.

i always thought that Help Me Ronda started "I said she put me down but i do it in my head" until i did a cover and someone pointed out that it was "Since she put me down i've been out doin' in my head". Shame, thought the first was a fraction more cerebral. And i also look a bit stupid.
