Was this a new show? Is this just now being released as a single? I love this song!

I'm waiting for the Focus Group to get posted so that my bile for this version of the song will be there for all to see. (The original is way spiff.)

This was good when I first heard it in Donnie Darko. A thousand times later and after suddenly getting picked up for radio play, I never want to hear that damned piano again.

I still love this song after playing the hell out of it but I'm baffled by why he's just playing Jay Leno now since Donnie Darko is 2 years old and his last album is 3 years old - but he made the song for the DD soundtrack (right?), which came out a year after his album? So did Jules re-release his album or is it supposed to tie in with time travel? Is it a relic and are we all doomed in the parallel universe?

So if it was was already no. 1 on European charts... and why the hell haven't I heard it on the radio? Has it been released in the U.S.?

The shit's convoluted, no?

I find it kinda funny that this is probably the version more people know. I also find it kinda sad.

ahead of its time, sappy acoustic arrangement of pop songs surely one of the biggest playlist genres on spotify

when it was in the running for the xmas 03 no. 1 in the UK, that was the first time I was aware of the charts as a thing.

and i wanted it to reach the top over the darkness. which is insane for a 6 year old, back when i was living my best life and not yet a troubled depressive. oh well.

but hey tears for fears are local (i knew this) (i also loved the original much more)
