Compass Point really needs to be reissued. I should've put "Cindy" on that list.

what a baller. is everything he ever did worth tracking down? i've got the Rockin' Steady comp on Rhino, but some of this set and others are appealing: complete early years '63 -'68..

I just heard the samples from Compass Point last night for the first time. I especially liked the :30 clip of Cindy.

But I paused before downloading the disc because the AMG review TRASHED it. That was one of the harshest reviews I've seen from AMG in a long time. Doesn't mean I won't d/l it eventually, but it certainly made me pause.

"Dracula" and "To Sir With Love" are both incredible songs in completely different ways

1 year passes...

I'm always so surprised at the quality of Desmond Dekker's songs. Often seen as a one-hit wonder, he's got dozens of songs at least as good as Israelites.
