I guess the editors don't know any bass players? Ashton = Ashdown, bareface = Barefaced (a brand name, very nice lightweight bass speaker cabinets). But it's an interesting article!

The editors know bassists, trust me. Pretty sure it was just a quick-transcribe job in order to get article posted ahead of Wobble's live dates.
