Former WU LYF-er's new project with his girlfriend as produced by Haxan Cloak and out on Mute. One of my fave listens so far this year. Any takers?

i never cared about WU LYF but this is really enjoyable, though i'm still not the biggest fan of his voice. $ORO is really shocking

I forgot about it until right now.

$ORO def unexpexted. His voice is on the intense side so perhaps not for everyone. It brings to mind a kind of apocalyptic Springsteen, if that makes any sense.

I ended up really loving their debut, it had so many gorgeous, carthatic melodies amongst all the blown-out synths and guitars. the gabber breakdown in $ORO still blows me away
new album Love Hates What You Become is out in January and the latest single from it is great so I'm excited

the new album is pretty solid though largely more of the same and has nothing as daring as $ORO, but i liked the sound of the debut a lot so i'm enjoying it
