This is pretty enjoyable: http://www.thefader.com/2016/04/11/yamantaka-sonic-titan-pantayo-severed-soundtrack

Yeah, it's really nice as a soundtrack, I'm just a little disappointed b/c I saw "new album" and was hoping for a proper one w/ songs and stuff. Think this will definitely grow on me once I move past that, though.

Basically an EP, but a good one, with several surprising moments

(Feel it might be important to state that the epic closing track, rather than a massive triumphant final vocal moment, is a quarter of the album given over to ambient dribble, but apart from that disappointment...)

oh, didn't know there was a relevant thread, was thinking of starting one (given that their debut is one of the best albums of the decade so far). just downloaded this.

looks like it's 8 seconds longer than the first one. I appreciate their commitment to 28-minute albums.

Feel free to start another thread specifically for Pantayo if you want! Though I guess this one is produced by Alaska B so is still relevant to YT//ST & Pantayo collabs.
I'm enjoying this but I feel like the vocal songs and kulintang/gong tracks aren't as well integrated with each other as on the debut? I'm preferring the instrumentals at the moment, but the others might well be growers.
