I would always listen to Christine 23 Onna's "Drive to Crystal Planet" when I worked at a department store and had to make cash runs to the bank every night. It made me feel like I was an intergalactic cargo carrier or something. But I don't generally try to pump myself up during my commutes.

kind of the opposite of "pumping up" but John Hall - "Power" (live version from no nukes) really really relaxed me/gave me peace on one nervous drive to work.
