We could argue all day on which Priest album was the best. But what about Halford's outside projects? Draw your steel and fight!

Live albums, compilations and demos are excluded.

I like that 2wo album, but I am also a weirdo.

I've actually seen Halford live twice. The first time was in support of Crucible in a tiny NYC club (BB King's). Support on that show: Testament, Immortal, Amon Amarth, Carnal Forge and Primal Fear. It was fucking awesome. Second time: opening for Ozzy at Madison Square Garden, after Made of Metal came out. Really good shows both times. No matter the size of the venue, he never half-asses it.

Nice! I liked Live Insurrection a lot as a document of his Halford live show (I liked that he included Fight songs, too!).

My vote is for Halford's Resurrection. The first three songs were like a battering ram that was wholly unexpected after his deviation with 2wo. The first seven tracks are all high quality, I don't remember much about the rest but overall I couldn't quit playing this for months when it came out.

"Silent Screams" was interesting because I first heard it when it was part of his 2wo side project and then he co-opted it for Halford instead.

just relistened to Resurrection. even though I loved it at the time, it actually sounds *better* to me today. it manages to distance itself enough from Priest but solid songwriting throughout. "Silent Screams" is an example of an epic Priest could have done *instead* of "Loch Ness".

it's just hard for me to believe this album is almost 15 years old. it doesn't feel like that much time has passed (and yet, in a way it does at the same time).

I like Winter Songs

I need to revisit Resurrection; at the moment, having not listened in years, Crucible is my favorite.

Crucible is the one I'd probably still side with. I haven't had time to revisit Fight, but I've been wanting to, just to see how it's aged.

i got War of Words and although I've always been a big fan of "Into the Pit", it didn't do much for me at all.
