three years pass...

I haven't listened to this in for forever, but I agree with the results and the sentiment that the first four tracks are where it's at. Having a serious nostalgia moment with "Bleed the Freak" right now, though.

Ironically, I'd FORGOTTEN the part in "I Can't Remember" where he goes up to grab that high note a couple times in the middle of the song. Good work, Layne.

I read an article about them and bought it shortly after release before hearing a note. I bought Mother Love Bone's Apple the same day. I was going through a Seattle phase so was buying anything on Sub Pop or referenced in the same articles.

"mildly surprised," meant to say.

I probably got it around the same time as EZ, after I'd seen the "Man in the Box" video. Facelift is no better or worse than any of their other records. Always a few really good tracks and whoooooole lot of chaff.

Nah, not much chaff on Dirt.

I wish to incorporate disco into my small business (chap), Sunday, 21 October 2012 02:32 (eleven years ago) link

zero chaff on Dirt and Facelift. and probably only two tracks of chaff max on facelift.
