just want to put in an honorable mention for the Etienne de Crecy record. it wasn't nommed but i think a lot of ilxors would enjoy it v much

I've just been going through the nominations to do my votes and there was so much stuff I didn't even realise was released this year, including that Etienne de Crecy track.

snap, would've voted for it but i missed that track in the noms list! that whole LP is fresh, no duds on it, i listened to it over and over.

oh i see it was the remix from the extended LP nominated. word up, that was the best of the remixes imo.

seandalai: I'm gonna submit a new tracks ballot. Do I need to re-enter the albums ballot as well?

Oh god, picking the last three or four is turning out to be harder than I thought. I like years where I only have 25 albums I want to rep for, curtailed choice is great.

(Some people will be pleased to know that I let my heart rule over my head and decided to count Jaar's Nymphs as an album.)

Onto the last run of re-listening to tracks. Thinking about trying out the 'no-crossover' rule between albums and tracks, it's only Angel Haze that really makes me waver on that. And I think they should have a strong showing in albums so, hmmm, yeah, let's see if I can do no crossover.
