Biggest discovery from going through the Spotify playlist is how amazing the Dumblonde album is.

Just finished going through the tracks list yesterday. Made a shortlist of everything I enjoyed. Just got to narrow those 146 songs down to 25 and I'm done. Albums should be a lot easier.

Whoa! RA - Scandinavia is some of the best post-punk of recent years. Utterly incendiary. Really nice nomination, uh….oh it's you, DAM. Whoda thunk etc :D

Forks, still the wrong Inverso. The one you've added to the playlist appears to be a Spanish-language Nickelback, not an Italian jazz duo. But it's ok. We've finished skimming every single album in the playlist. Something that all of you should have done before voting. Even the ones without free time.

Is the roll-out going be like normal (i.e., tracks rolling out on Monday, albums the Monday after that)?

I always leave my ballot to the last minute. Albums are almost sorted, tracks will be cobbled together somehow I'm sure.

Beatrice Dillon just jumped out from the tracks Spotify playlist. Probably won't vote for it, as I already have a hardcore 30 tracks I now need to whittle down to 25. But props to whoever nommed it. Kiiara and Louis The Child other late discoveries, for which (merely) thanks.

I voted yesterday, happy with how my ballot worked out, but am now AFRAID to keep listening to the tracks playlist. Too much great stuff...

i hasten to mention again that those playlists are not disappearing after this poll; if you find something you like better than what you heard last year that is effectively your fave music of 2016 and i swear to god that's okay.
