there is some flurry about one track featuring "psychedelic bagpipes"

this has driven me into such a fit that i am now continually searching everything my bloody valentine in every possible venue i can think of, up to 3 times a day. funny thing is, considering UK/US time, any news release will likely happen while i'm asleep. i want to fucking hear this.

Bagpipes are naturally plenty psychedelic.

Er. I'm seeing this lot play out tonight. People are saying there might be some new songs.

I managed to get a couple of tickets on Friday night, so will be there. Personally I want them to only play new material, but knowing my luck it will all be old stuff.

Well. One new song and shit sound system. Enjoyed the classics, but really wanted more new songs.

Shields mumbled something about this week and the album, but the sounds was so muffled I couldn’t be sure. First song was new, rest were classics.

Re: new song, I couldn’t make out the vocals and major teething problems with sound on the first few tracks. Sounded average, but hopefully the recorded version will sound better.
