i think we know why they were assholes to some dude though:

It was rad and he spent a bunch of time making fun of me for coming to his show alone and then some dude rushes up to us and is being super annoying asking for Dap’s autograph and just generally being terrible until Dap just puts a hand up and goes,

“Dude. Can’t you see I’m busy? I don’t know if you’ve met my wife. But this is Gwen. My wife. My WIFE okay?? So I’d appreciate it if I could have some time alone with her.”

I really enjoyed DR's music but it's been pretty clear for the last couple years that they weren't enjoying what they were doing together. I don't remember the last time I saw a band get as jaded as quickly as these guys have

I will miss their brand of hip-hop, though. I know a lot of people dismiss them but I always found them refreshing. my ears are probably broken though

Huh. Tried to see them at the Virgin Festival back in October and their set got cancelled. We got told they broke up, but I never heard anything about it after that so figured it was a joke.

i like them a lot (unashamedly), but this doesn't really bum me out 'cause i've listened to their solo tapes more than the DR stuff.
