Thought Nocturn might be higher. Think i had it about third. Amazing piece of music.

I'd always have said Nocturn was my favourite from Aerial, but when it came down to it Sunset and A Coral Room beat it easily (lol it was still my no.8)

my number 2 and yeah, too low. listened to it in the small hours when i was suffering insomnia a few years ago and it was like a warm blanket.

the fact that there is a Kate Bush song as good as Breathing that also features Roy Harper is possibly proof of God's existence.

I haven't been on all the polls, but it's the first time I can recall a whole album placing. The Joshua Tree nearly did on my other one, but iirc it fell one short.

It's pretty sweet watching a deep cut take off as the ballots roll in - this placed on a straight run of ten consecutive ballots in the middle.

am glad that The Dreaming made it in full, of all the albums it deserves it most i think even tho it's not the era i go back to most at the moment

I don't think any of the Neil albums placed in full, but I'm pretty sure all of Innervisions placed in the Stevie poll.

I was one of the #1 votes for "Nocturn" - everything I'd loved about Kate Bush ~The Ninth Wave with added balearic majesty; I think it was Tim in the OG Aerial thread that mentioned Talk Talk/Bark Psychosis/"Halcyon+On+On"/"Under The Sun" as reference points. I wish I'd had the chance to hear it at the end of some kind of Studio DJ set as the sun was rising.
