I found the following yesterday for very reasonable prices, and I'll probably go back tomorrow for a few hours as well:

No record fair for me. I am too exhausted from today's snow adventures.

i only bought four records. but i didn't have nearly enuff time to look thoroughly. i didn't get there til close to 5 :(

I really wanted to go to this but the snow kinda messed everything up.. is the next one soon?

Spent about $30, maybe more than someone who never plays his records should.

mini-fair today at the Bell House, you can get in from 11am-3pm (closes at 5)

Fri eve always tough for me. Think many friends will be there Sat, so then. Maybe Sunday too, for... Blowfly.

I'm amped for this--bought a new turntable and haven't bought records in years. My friend tells me that classic rock records sell for a lot now because youngsters with a lot of money to burn are building collections. Somehow I thought there would be cheap copies of Exile on Main Street forever (I have lost a lot of records I had 30 years ago!)

i bought a Vivaldi CD for $1, that's it. go to schmooze

Picked up a Folk Implosion record and that's it. Felt kind of defeated I couldn't pull the trigger on some other things in time and make the trip more worth it.

Vendor tables for WFMU's 2015 Record Fair are selling out quickly! This year's fair is May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at the Brooklyn Expo Center (72 Noble St in Greenpoint.

i was actually thinking of going halfsies on a table, but given the time crunch if i actually cull before moving i guess i'll just call ian.

does ian set up a table there? I haven't bumped into him at any of these yet.

it'll be interesting to see if the non-Brooklyn crowd can find their way to Greenpoint (with the L train down).

It'll be interesting for sure. Academy Records literally sharing a wall with the space- this should work out well for them.

Just got back. Very nice space, light and airy, unlike previous venues. Very dismayed at the jacked up prices though.
