Wolf in the Breast: Eristoff Black Vodka + melon juice + milk. Garnish with one strawberry.
Glass Candle Grenade: - 1/2 Green Absinthe + 1/2 Red bull shot.

Athol Brose is already a cocktail, of a fashion - a mix of oatmeal, honey, whisky and cream. I had one in M/cr's The Modern restaurant last year and it was completely delicious, sadly none of my drinking companions were Cocteaus fans. The restaurant has since shut down, never seen it for sale elsewhere though.

was hoping somebody would submit a recipe for a "Quisquose"

sleeve, Friday, 8 July 2011 20:54 (thirteen years ago) link

There was one: Vodka, Campari splash, Orange syrup, soda and vanilla ice cream

LeRooLeRoo, Friday, 8 July 2011 23:16 (thirteen years ago) link

oh sorry I meant "I was glad someone submitted etc."

my version of a Blood Bitch would be an all-the fixin's Bloody Mary with extra heat and a splash of 151.

sleeve, Friday, 8 July 2011 23:24 (thirteen years ago) link

i laughed at the original post, but i was totally thinking blood bitch needed to be a real recipe. and that if it was bloody mary-esque that would be ok. my version would probably be exactly the same as above, + a single drop of blood, and 2 panadols on the side. oh, and infuse the 151 with high grade hydroponic!
