al ship's top 50 rap/r&b crossover singles of the 00s -- which is your favorite?

I voted 'My Love', partly because I feel guilty leaving it out my ballot on the 2005-09 poll, but mostly cos it genuinely is my favourite here. That I know anyway - there's a lot I don't, so will be checking those out shortly.

yeah i could gripe about how i'm not wild about what got the most votes, i have to say i'm delighted that over 50 votes were spread out over 30 songs

didn't vote myself naturally but it wouldve been one of the early fab trinity i think - perhaps '4ever'.

'no better love' seems to get realer and realer with age. was pretty real to begin with anyway.

really enjoyed the list in general though, i just liked the quintessential ships-ness of it mainly. (can someone be quixotically common-sense...? haha)

i heard it first when someone on the jukebox (keane tzong iirc) made some offhand comment about a year go re: "miss keri baby" being a really unfortunate thing to say, it was several months until i worked out why though.

I can take or leave Nelly. I got Country Grammar and liked it on first listen but I can't say it's the type of thing I'll ever play a lot. I will say I often like him a lot more when he's guesting -- his guest on that one song on T.I.'s Urban Legend was dope.
