Any band I have written off bcz of their name is the type of band I would actively have to search out myself to hear, anyway. ie: Monsoon Bassoon, who are never on the radio, and who no one I know listens to.

Any act whose name has the word "fuck" or "shit" in it. I'm too old for that type of "edginess".

Any act whose name has more than four words. "I just bought the new album by I Love You But My Panda Is Gay" is not a sentence I ever want to say out loud.

A friend recommended me a band called Volapük but I can't listen to them because every time I read it I think "vomit puke".

There are plenty of other, more credible reasons to write off Limp Bizkit.

But the name is a pretty adequate map of the territory, you have to admit.

For me, they reignited that whole Flipper, Fang, Killdozer flame with their debut. Their second one was, erm, toilet but "King of Jeans" nails it.

Hilarious existential sarcasm.

they used to be good! havent seen em since between the first and second records, but they were good then. i didnt love the second LP either, after feeling just ^^ this way about the first. maybe i should check out KoJ?

Vampire Weekend. unless they are the best band of all time, i probably just won't bother.
