would it be possible to make an artist ranking at the end, tuomas? some bands have few albums in the list, others have lots, so there will surely be a bias towards albums of artists with only few albums nominated.

With a couple of minor changes, my ballot is identical to the one I sent four years ago. That ballot felt incomplete because it never "counted", so for some reason it would have felt like cheating to send something else (of course I still stand behind the albums I voted for).

I've just searched through ancient gmails to find my original ballot from 2005. I've got mostly the same albums, but with the order shuffled quite a bit. The one big difference is that I had Happy Mondays - 24 Hour Party People... in 4th spot last time, but it wasn't even nominated this time round.

of course anyone could do it with the full poll results but as tuomas calculates the album scores in a spreadsheet or something i thought it would make sense to separate artists from albums names at that point to make the artist calculation easier.

I think we've all learned the true meaning of christmas from this.

If there's not gonna be a lot of last moment votes, I think I can get the votes counted tomorrow, so I could start the countdown tomorrow night. However, I'm kinda busy with other things tomorrow, so it's possible I can't do it until Tuesday night. Hope you can wait until then.

It's been a tight race, and your last-minute vote might actually change the order of the top 10, so I decided to count it in. But I won't reveal anything more, I'll probably start the countdown later today.

Remember that we Americans have a holiday (Thanksgiving) on Thursday. So I know the majority of us would like you to suspend results on that day as a lot of us will be doing other things.

I'll be posting the results whenever I'll have time, it's not like I have scheduled my following week or two according to this poll. But it certainly won't be concluded on Thursday, the countdown will most likely take until next week.
