I really thought that trypophobia was silliness or a very rare phobia experienced by total psychos, but now I see that there are many holes to be afraid of for very good reasons.

I don't know if this related, but I have a definite irrational fear of olive loaf or really any type of bologna that has little round stuff embedded in it. I'm perfectly at peace with salami and pepperoni and their regular flecked patterns, but if a slice of bologna is anything but perfectly pink and consistent throughout, then it creeps me out hardcore.

I didn't realize for a long time that those round yellow things with dark borders in that last photo are pistachios. knowing what they are makes them slightly less terrifying, but still, aaargh.
