Boxing Helena

this is one of the funniest/campiest/silliest movies I have ever seen. Just screams for a John Waters commentary track. Bill Paxton as a bad-boy rocker in leather pants. Art Garfunkel as Art Garfunkel. Boobs a-plenty. A number of embarassing sex scenes. Loads and loads of Julian Sands whining. And in the end... *SPOILERS* it was all a dream!! LOL

Ha, I saw this at a sleepover in high school with a kid who later came out as gay. Not sure how I didn't realize it at the time, since after the movie we sat in his bedroom listening to his Madonna and William Orbit albums.

I saw (this) Lynch's other movie "Surveillance" and it was just as ridiculous, right down to its own stupid twist.

Paxton does two things in this movie: 1) has hilarious fake sex while wearing a shag "rocker" wig, 2) looks anguished/tortured

unfortunately GIS turns up nothing for Paxton, but it does return gems like this

I'm pretty sure Kim Basinger had to pay millions in damages when she backed out of this. Good call, Kim.
