I have a lot of catching up to do here, so I am just going to work backwards. I will leave the boorish answers of BURRITO to stand alone, but I want to be clear that they do not reflect my own opinions, and i have a sneaking suspicion that he/she may in fact be a "Chilito" or some similar monstrosity.

Wheat or corn tortilla?
― nickn, Saturday, 31 July 2010 07:31 (thirteen years ago) link
For evening dress, it is hard to go wrong with a good wheat jacket. However, for a night on the town with ladies where a few shots of tequila are the norm, corn can have a slimming effect.

I think the thing that makes me the most sad is ad hominem attacks on the internet. I know that it seems like a harmless thing to do but when you are the victim of it, the pain is hard to describe.
Also I think that this new trend of naming your kids weird invented names like "Pazo" or "Beatrix" or "Kenan" is a sad societal breakdown that should be addressed.

how do you feel when people choose tacos over you?
― jabulani hands (S-), Saturday, 31 July 2010 08:32 (thirteen years ago) link
I am very proud of my little brother Taco! Given his obvious impediments, we didn't expect him to really get all that far in life, but that hard shell helmet he has to wear seems to have ingratiated him to a certain segment of the population. I, for one, am proud of them both because it makes me happy when compatible people find each other.
― a burrito, Saturday, 31 July 2010 08:44 (thirteen years ago) link
Now I am suspicious of small-b burrito. He comes off nice, but I think he's a motherfucker with some dark secrets. I wouldn't be surprised if BURRITO is lying somewhere in a pool of his own enchilada sauce.

burrito, I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say we would love for you to show us how to fold you up right! This is a skill that many lack, probably due to people's skewed filling-to-tortilla ratio and also their bad folding skills. Nobody loves a poorly-assembled burrito.
― Lexaprotend (Stevie D), Saturday, 31 July 2010 16:23 (thirteen years ago) link
IM NOT WORRIED ABOUT BERRIES AND HERES WHY:
THE FIRST TIME YOU SEE A BLUEBERRY, YOU GRIP IT WITH YOUR BURRITO HOLE AND CONSIDER ITS ROUNDNESS. IT HAS A SKIN ON THE OUTSIDE, LIKE A SPHERICAL TORTILLA MADE OF BERRY. SO TAUT, SO DISTENDED, YOU SWEAR IT MUST BE PACKED WITH BEANS, BEEF, GUAC, MELTED MONTY JACK, ET CETERA.
THEN COMES THE LETDOWN. YOU CLAMP DOWN ON IT WITH YOUR BURRITO HOLE UNTIL IT BURSTS, AND WHAT DO YOU GET? ... MORE BERRY. ON THE OUTSIDE, A SKIN MADE OF BERRY. ON THE INSIDE, A LIQUIDY PULPY FILLING, AND ***SURPRISE*** ITS ALSO MADE OF BERRY.
NOW IMAGINE IF BURRITOS WORKED THIS WAY. THE OUTSIDE OF THE BURRITO WOULD BE A CORN TORTILLA (GOD HELP US). BITE INTO IT AND ALL YOU GET IS MOUTHFUL AFTER MOUTHFUL AFTER MOUTHFUL OF SICKLY CREAMED CORN.
I HAVE JUST DESCRIBED THE WORST BURRITO EVER BORN.
YET I, WITH MY TRANS FATS AND BOUNDLESS VARIETY OF FILLINGS, WILL NEVER LOSE SLEEP OVER A MEASLY BALL OF FRUIT FLESH.
― BURRITO, Saturday, 31 July 2010 17:00 (thirteen years ago) link

i think with your references to scripture you are onto something, Mr. Smith - I believe that this post shows the Cain and Abel nature of the burrito-taco brotherhood. Much like in the Bible where Cain lies about knowing the whereabouts of his virtuous brother, a burrito lies about the taco's covering. Also, as in the Bible, Abel is most favored because he gives meat as an offering.
