"Sink Immigrants Boats" says Nick Griffin

The EU should sink boats carrying illegal immigrants to prevent them entering Europe, British National Party leader Nick Griffin has told the BBC.

The MEP for the North-West of England said the EU had to get "very tough" with migrants from sub-Saharan Africa.

In an interview with this week's edition of BBC Parliament's The Record Europe, he said: "If there's measures to set up some kind of force or to help, say the Italians, set up a force which actually blocks the Mediterranean then we'd support that.

"But the only measure, sooner or later, which is going to stop immigration and stop large numbers of sub-Saharan Africans dying on the way to get over here is to get very tough with those coming over.

"Frankly, they need to sink several of those boats.

"Anyone coming up with measures like that we'll support but anything which is there as a 'oh, we need to do something about it' but in the end doing something about it means bringing them into Europe' we will oppose."

The interviewer, BBC Correspondent Shirin Wheeler, said: "I don't think the EU is in the business of murdering people at sea."

Mr Griffin replied: "I didn't say anyone should be murdered at sea - I say boats should be sunk, they can throw them a life raft and they can go back to Libya.

"But Europe has sooner or later to close its borders or its simply going to be swamped by the Third World."

In May, the Italian government gave Libya three patrol boats as part of a deal aimed at combating the flow of illegal migrants making the crossing to Italy.

What do they do when the immigrants just carry on their way to Europe in the rafts?

they sink the rafts and dredge up the original ships

they confiscate their clothes and then throw them new clothes

I know i totally contradict myself about the jobs i meant they should work…. but we should get more entitlement if you get me. Im not a dog considering i got offered a nuts magazine position, i was a model until i couldnt afford the time anymore and i get lads left right and centred aha!! silly people you are…. We could start bitching about you but we dont so leave it, i understand your views but we gotta get on with it, its life! Also as far as the jobs go i understand that there is also white people out there who havent got a job and dont bother, i hate those people so its not about the race, i just hate people like that, get off your fat lazy arses and get a life!!

For everyone who does not know this i am the last girl, i am not a dog no matter what any prick says!! Its not fake as you can check with me on facebook like people have said, search for me if you please nd be a big person and speak to me one on one!! My laptop is nackered so sometimes muddles up the letters in my sentences and as far as the slang goes im a teenager using shortened words so if you gotta problem deal with it, i dont need to speak like you want me to :) ?And as far as my age goes i am 18 but 19 next week so that why, im not thick as you call me, i have alot of intelligence but what you believe is fine because i bet my job that i am getting is 100 times better than yours and does my face look bothered what you think? Im not racist as it says in my interview ‘what attracted you to the BNP’ I said it was the closest one that met me as some parts i agreed with but some does not mean all so stop judging!!
