I JUST saw this. If you live near Austin, Lancaster, North Aurora, or Rochester, go see it! It's the most inept film I've ever seen (and no doubt WILL ever see) in a multiplex. With as much objectivity as I can muster, The Room is more polished both in the production and the storytelling. Godawful but endlessly fascinating!

Ah yeah, I've heard about this. Am intrigued but don't know if it'll hit the UK. Only skimmed that interview but am I right in thinking they filmed most of the lines completely out of context with each other? Like a sentence at a time?

A UK friend has apparently seen it! Dunno how. Just sent him a message. I'll let you know what he says.
At this point, I'm not sure what to believe re: the production of this film. But I wouldn't be shocked if it were filmed that way. The dialogue (and the editing of the dialogue!) has all the rhythm of mashed potatoes dribbling down a wall.
