PC: Press the PrintScreen button
MAC: Command+shift+3 for a grab of the whole screen, Command+shift+4 for grabbing a specific part of the screen

editing the screenshot (if you want):

Simply paste it into MSPaint or Photoshop, crop it, reduce it down to a reasonable size, etc.

i got a 307 which was pretty embarassing so i didnt even print it. i def type much faster normally tho--with this i have to keep looking up at the screen and down at the keybrd to set my fingers, and normally my eyes are free to go whereever i want them

What screws me up is when it gets going fast and the letters (at least to me) start to blur together. On the plus side, I am learning new words that apparently don't exist. My favorite: bonification.

36th - 1393 points. (Sorry, too lazy to screen-grab.) I noticed that my ability to read the words as they blew by went out before my ability to type them. Shit got blurry.

Got back into the top ten... but knocked my last score out. I'm 9 + 10 now. Who knows if it'll last. (I'd TinyPic it, but the website keeps freezing on me.)

92% accuracy, scored 1222, which placed me 69th. sandwiched between numerous attempts by sarahel!

Arr, once it sped up a bit, I had trouble minimizing error-typing, as I'd write out the whole word wrong if I get the first letter wrong.

Well, new record for me (2130), but I still have a ways to go. Mordy, how did you overcome the blurry word problem? Every time I lose it's on a word I don't know anyway (in the above picture, it was dichromate).

some of the words are made up or badly inputted - cosolidate?

I wonder if the "cosolidate" thing is part of the test, though. You can't always rely on either knowing all the words, or on spelling knowledge. You have to be paying attention and typing exactly what's on the screen. There's also a mix of US spelling and Britishes spelling.

Mordy, how did you overcome the blurry word problem?

It's a problem. That's how I keep losing. I didn't know that last word, and it was really long, and it was too blurry to punch out. But generally, my typos increase near the end as I try to approximate the spelling I can see. So I might hit 'n' and 'm' for the same letter.
