Shout out to Women With Steve Buscemi Eyes? Anyway, loved that stuff to bits.

Kind of the episode with the most adolescent humor, no?

No way could I accurately and satisfactorily vote in such a thing without watching all the seasons again.

Johnny Fever, Saturday, 12 January 2013 05:51 (eleven years ago) link

I don't see a problem there?

Klaus & Greta would be near the top of my list, it's the one with James Franco

Okay I'm going out of town until April but I can't NOT vote in this poll but I'd have to watch them all again so we should delay it until May so we can let the last season marinate a bit.

Gukbe, Saturday, 12 January 2013 06:11 (eleven years ago) link

sounds like a plan.

That joke that revolves around the phrase, "double-teamed by two the Rocks" - that one.

Fallon's 30 Rock show had this as Jane K's favorite clip, which is so amazing:

Just caught up with last week's episode - lolled hard at the Tubgirl reference. Wonder if they'll squeeze a Goatse ref in there too before the end of the final episode...

Tina Fey has no intention of slowing down after 30 Rock airs its series finale later this week. At the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in L.A. Jan. 27 -- where Fey picked up the trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series -- the 42-year-old told reporters how she plans to stay busy in the months ahead.

"I am going to London in March to film the next Muppets movie. . .and I'm hopefully shooting a movie called Mail Order Groom this summer with Steve Carell," said Fey, who played Carell's wife in 2010's Date Night. "My partner Robert Carlock and I have a new overall deal with NBC to eventually -- over the next couple of years -- develop another television show. That's sort of what's going on."

With NBC's 30 Rock ending after seven seasons on Jan. 31, Fey said she hopes the offbeat comedy will have "a long life" in syndication. "I look forward to another generation of nerds kind of finding it and enjoying it." The married mother of two also plans to continue her charitable efforts with Autism Speaks and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

I'm oddly sad about this show ending tonight. Watched the pilot and a couple other early favorites last night. What a gift 30 Rock has been.

Clay, Thursday, 31 January 2013 15:41 (eleven years ago) link

It has.

I might cry when the credits roll tonight.

Johnny Fever, Thursday, 31 January 2013 15:44 (eleven years ago) link

Hey Rockheads, I have a question. I watched season 1 when it aired, but didn't keep up with it after that. We've started watching the whole thing, 3-4 episodes per evening, and are just about to season 2. Should I watch the finale tonight or hold off to watch it in order with the rest of the last season?

Dr. Alfred P. Falfa (WilliamC), Thursday, 31 January 2013 15:52 (eleven years ago) link

I'd hold off, personally. I don't know what all is going to happen, but I imagine there will be a lot of callback story lines and gags that you'll need to know about to find as funny.

Instagram Llewyn Davis (silby), Thursday, 31 January 2013 18:45 (eleven years ago) link

I had no idea that this season was truncated and as such only realized it's ending about a week ago--I can't quite believe it.
