The ~~problem~~ great thing about these kinds of threads is that they tend to turn into ~~popularity contests~~ call-outs for our friends.

The other problem with these threads is people wanting attention, people crying out to be picked, people reacting as if they've had some great big compliment when they are picked and people going in the huff when they aren't (see also "Your favourite 10 ILXors and similar").
