They say that if you do a little snipping, your dick looks bigger. Yes. I will pause.

I have also heard, from more than one woman, that it's "nice" and "considerate". Since I've been, erm, experimenting with the hair on my face maybe it would be fun to.. god, I can't even say it. Get into the double-standard conversation if you must, but I am particularly interested simply in whether or not you think it's a good idea.

yes it's an interesting feeling, look - can be fun, thouhg you'll find yr pubes stink a little more because reduced absorbant level etc, nothing a shower or two once a year won't cure...be careful about shaving though - itching is ferocious.

UGH. UGH. UGH. As long as we're not talking scary behemoth amounts of hair, it should be left alone on guys. I mean, first off, every girl alive knows about that lame ass dick trick - it doesn't make you look bigger, it makes you look like a moron who thinks it looks bigger. Plus, guys tend not to be that up on keeping up with grooming as regularly as girls are - you ever have stubble grind you? Not nice.

I mean, I'm a big huge fan of the double standard on body hair, really. Girls = none, guys = some to a lot. But even if I wasn't, it's terrible, all my female friends have a good laugh about guys who do that, even the ones who think it's "better" (ie no hair in the mouth syndrome), because we ALL know that you lot think it makes you look bigger. You aren't fooling anyone!

I trim my pubic hair. Acutally, I trim all my body hair. NOT SHAVE. I do shave my balls and butt. My partner likes it. He has a hissy fit everytime I trim...but enjoys it after it's done. He keeps telling me he likes hairy guys...but I like smooth guys and he doesn't trim.

Well, after reading all of this...

YES, I trim the pubes. Why? Because it looks neater and cleaner, and seems to turn back the clock on my appearance by five or ten years (I'm 37). Of course, I also trim my chest hair. I do this about once a month. Oh, and no matter what your size might be, GO SLOW AND BE CAREFUL. A stab of the scissors can be incredibly painful to soft pubic flesh, especially on the ol' thrill hammer.

I had average hair growth down below, and the fact it is blond makes it look shorter than it is. Still, after watching any porn video, you can see that the majority of males in the vids shave completely, and it just makes a guy look younger in my opinion. The trick is not to trim too much, and to keep it even. It's not as easy as you think! If your partner is into it, have them do it because they can get a, um, "better perspective" (up close and personal) than you can.

The old stereotype of hair=manliness is kind of dated. My trimmed chest hair totally makes my gym workouts seem more effective. After my first trim, the bed chatter included "you have REALLY been working out, haven't you?" Nope. Just trimmed the hair down a bit. Minor task. No sweat. Looks good.

How you feel about your appearance is the key. Unless there is a major objection from your partner, go with what feels right for you. If you feel like you look better after a trim, then you WILL look better. Everyone is different. The good news is that hair grows back, and the length will terminate at the natural length. You won't have permanent short or long patches. It just doesn't work that way. In other words, it will eventually look exactly the same as it did pre-trim.

If you're a moderately hairy bloke (as I am), you can't just trim/shave individual bits of body hair as you'd then look, well, stupid and patchy. I once offered to shave myself in exchange for my partner doing it, but for some reason my half of the deal was never called upon (though I was SO grateful that she kept to hers).

For someone with a reputation for smuttiness, I had *never* heard the "it makes your cock look bigger* line. Perhaps this is because, unlike some, I don't search despairingly for ways of increasing my proportions :-)

I'm fully shaved and my girlfriend (also shaved) loves it. I let the area above my package grow back once and she asked me to shave it off. She likes the feel of skin on skin.

You do have to keep it shaved or it will irritate your parntner, though.
