holy shit, i was watching mythbusters this afternoon and they stuck a cd in the microwave. it was seriously the COOLEST thing i've ever seen. sparks were flying everywhere and it got all veiny and nasty.

the wifey looked at me totally seriously and said, "that is sooo cool, but don't you even dare!"

VLC plays .avi files on the Mac just nicely.
